Raiders Vs. Steelers

The Raiders went into the last regular season attempting to go undefeated for the second straight year. Although the Raiders were still missing players do to some injuries they still went into the game very confident possibly too confident, it was a good lesson learned before playoffs. The defense played well enough for us to win. Dallin had a great breaking up many passes in the secondary and ended up with to interceptions on the day. Offensively we struggled to finish off drives do to turnovers, the offense moved the ball well they were just plagued by to's Some of the bright side of offense were the receivers Cam and Nate ran, blocked and caught well the whole game. Once again our saving grace was special teams- Bo in the kicking game, Shane on punting, and our PAT block for the 3rd straight saved us, good pat block Nate. Next up we take on the flying Eagles of Marsh Valley in the first round of playoffs.(Boys get focused and take care of business.)

Raiders Vs Chargers

The Raiders set out Saturday to claim #1 seed in the playoffs for the second straight year, needing to beat the other undefeated team the Chargers. The Raiders got the ball and set the tone early by marching down the field and scoring on the first possession followed by a quick 3 and out for the Chargers. It was a good battle for 4 Qtrs. Neither team played great but both teams played hard. Our running backs ran hard (Mase & Christian) and gave us our only 2 Touchdowns of the game. The O-line played pretty well creating some good holes for the backs and protecting Jerred in the passing game. Cody C. did a great job filling in for our regular center who was still out with a concussion, also the defense picked up the slack for missing one of our LB's The ball hawking defense did another great job by picking off another pass to stop a drive by the Chargers. (Good Job Andy W.) there were also some good hits throughout the game most notable Nick had 2 big hits to save some long runs. Once again all three phases of the game made certain plays to allow us to get the VICTORY. Raiders Congratulations #1 seed 2 years in a row!
